Here is a song about taking things as insults when they were really not meant that way. I am guilty of doing this as well. It can be exhausting to be stuck in that mode where any attempt at helping someone gets turned around into an attack. I recognize that is hard to cope with, and that I am one of those people who needs to stay vigilant to avoid slipping into that over-sensitive state that drives those who are trying to help us away.

Recording Notes
I had a great time improvising the back and forth between the bass and guitar in the breakdown at the end. I really had no clue where I was going to take the song, and landing there was quite the happy surprise.
