I am proud to say that I have added a Music app to my website. If you are on a phone, it might be tucked into a hamburger menu.
I will be adding songs slowly, over time. This is an archival project, and not really an attempt at becoming a professional musician. As such, there is no standard set that recordings need to be radio-ready to be included. Not to knock it though, I know there are a few people who will enjoy digging through my material, and I think it will tell an interesting journey as I add songs that I recorded early on, and gradually reach the songs I've recorded more recently. One does improve with practice.
In any case, should you find that you are one of those people who enjoys my music, I wanted to make that as enjoyable an experience as I could. I would love feedback or inspirations about how I can improve things. I would expect that it will stay a bit simple for now, but as time goes on, I might see new ways to make things more interesting.
At the moment, I am about half way finished adding the first album. It takes a good amount of time to add one song, so it may take a while before I get the whole catalog up.
Dear Listener, I Hope You Like These Songs will be the first focus. This album represents some of my earliest attempts at home recording. I think I released it back around 2010, but I'm sort of foggy about all that. I'm going by file timestamps and sometimes it gets confusing because I was not as organized then as I have become now.
Of note, in adding this app, I now have 3 apps on my site: blog, gallery, and music. They each correlate with the links in the navbar or hamburger menu. I still plan on adding features to all, but wanted to get the MVP up, and I'd say I am getting close to that.
