Jan. 31, 2026, 3:22 p.m.Today I added filtering to my blog page.
I recognize that I have a few different types of users that will visit this website. It does serve as a professional portfolio for my web development and design pursuits. It also serves as a source for my music and art fans to enjoy my creative work.
Part of the focus for UI/UX dev is consideration of and empathy for the users that will visit this site. I am aware that fans of my music will not necessarily know or care what UI or UX stands for.
I am also aware that a busy hiring manager trying to determine if I am the killer designer/dev that I happen to be needs to figure this out without digging through my art and music blog posts.
In any case, users can now decide what subjects they are interested in, and filter out the rest. Hooray!
